LLH Solutions is a Business Transfer Agency working primarily within the licensed hospitality and leisure sectors.

Established by Kevin Ayton and Ben Freckingham to provide an honest service delivered by real human beings who know how personal each pub, hotel and restaurant is to the owner.

No shiny suits or slick PowerPoint presentations, just expert advice from people who have actually worked in the industry and who have an intimate knowledge of the market.

We understand that when you make the decision to sell your business it can be an emotional roller coaster. We always act swiftly and always put your best interests first.

Our mission is to provide a real alternative to the impersonal service offered by the large business brokers, for whom your pub, hotel or restaurant is just another commission cheque.


The Team

Kevin Ayton – Principal

Kevin has been in the licensed trade for 25 years. He has run pubs, hotels and restaurants and so has direct experience of the challenges facing owners and managers.

For the last few years he has operated as a business transfer agent for licensed and hospitality businesses, using his experience and knowledge of the market to offer a personal service.

Ben Freckingham – Principal

Ben has worked as a business broker for more than 20 years. He cut his teeth working for large, national agencies but quickly became disillusioned with the way that they operated and how they treated their staff.

Ben and Kevin have a shared ethos of always putting the customer first and being absolutely honest with them at all times. This shared vision led to them forming LLH Solutions to offer the type of service that they would want to receive themselves.

Tom Klimes – Technical Manager

Tom joined the team to keep the technical side of the operation running smoothly. Never happier than when knee-deep in HTML or IP addresses; Tom seems to run entirely on caffeine, real ale and pork scratchings.

Tracey Whibberley – Agent (Northwest)

Tracey has been a publican for most of her working life. She knows the trade inside out and has a huge range of industry contacts throughout the Northwest.

Tracey joined the team to help LLH better serve her region and believes passionately in the company’s service led ethos.

Lesley Hughes – Office Manager

Lesley is a strict disciplinarian and knows how to keep the team in line.

With her fine eye for detail; she makes sure that appointments are scheduled, diaries are synchronised, business details are updated.

She is the oil that keeps the machine running smoothly and efficiently.

Dougal – Fitness Instructor

Always ready with a waggy tail and a lick of the ear, Dougal keeps the team fit and healthy by insisting on long walks (when he is not too busy demanding snacks or snoozing).
