Well we are at the end of the first week of September, schools have started and it seems like normality is coming back…
Although today the news said that the virus had increased over the last few days and that perhaps we will see a spike and changes to behaviour having to be put in place.. don’t want to sound gloomy but I think we need to make sure that we are honest about how we are going to be able to deal with the coming months.
With the change of weather and the evenings getting chiller, how are you going to deal with bringing your customers indoors. Have seen locally a lot of pubs if they have the outside space, put up marquees to continue to deal with the numbers they have been feeding and watering. Are you able to do this?? What measures can you put in place inside to help the social distancing.
This is going to be an ongoing issue for some pubs and hospitality venues, so are you looking to find innovative ways of increasing your profits.. Is your pub a hub of the community and that is helping you to survive these difficult times. Are you choosing to use more local produce and suppliers to create your unique new menus… are you enticing your customers with new ideas and tastes..
Whatever you have chosen to do I hope that you succeed and can continue to work your way through this pandemic..
