Cash spurned during Coronavirus

Retailers move to contactless payments and stop taking cash

Sainsbury’s and Morrisons supermarkets have stopped accepting cash transactions for fear that the cash handling will spread the Coronavirus massively.  McDonalds have ceased operation completely in the UK amid the realisation that even though they limited their restaurants to Drive-Thru only, their staff were becoming infected as they were handling cash.

If you have appropriately adapted your Licensed, Leisure and Hospitality business to be able to transact in these difficult times, card payments may be the way to go with sterilisation of the equipment between transactions.
