Breweries adapting to Covid-19

Locked down, no pubs open and only some offering a takeaway service.  Breweries have been forced to think outside the box to get their products to the customers who would usually be enjoying their products in their “local”.

Some have invested in canning partnerships where able and are (shock upon shock) canning their products, when previously only Draught or Bottled would suffice.

One brewer based in Melton Mowbray has even offered a home delivery service to the lovers of their ales.

Their website states “RCB DELIVERS – owing to the current lockdown, we now deliver brewery fresh beer to a growing army of beer lovers in Melton Mowbray and surrounds.  On Friday we deliver to South Melton,  Stamford and Oakham and  on Tuesdays we deliver to North Melton and north of Melton up to Grantham.  Email us at info@roundcornerbrewing.com with your address and we’ll be in touch on beers and timing.

RCB Collections – you can now collect  beer  from our Taproon from 1pm to 3pm every Saturday.

RCB Webstore is open for orders nationwide: https://www.roundcornerbrewing.com/shop

This may well change the direction of these brewers moving forward, and will that have a knock on effect on the pubs and bars these customers used to frequent when the restrictions are lifted.  We shall all have to wait and see.
